Mahila Samarth Yojana

 As we read above, this scheme has been run by the Uttar Pradesh government. Under which the government will provide benefits to women. Under the Mahila Shakti Yojana, with the help of small and cottage industries, women will be motivated for employment and a market will be made available for the goods manufactured by women. So that women of the state can be motivated to become self-reliant and self-reliant. They will be able to sell the goods made by them at a reasonable rate in the available market which will give them new employment opportunities. The scheme will help in increasing the income of self-help groups of women milk producers under the State Rural Livelihoods Mission. Under this scheme, the government has set a target of spending 200 crores rupees.


 The special feature of this scheme is that only women beneficiaries will be included in it.

How will this plan be operated?

 Under the UP Mahila Sashakti Yojana, all the 800 development blocks of the state will be operated on the basis of a cluster approach by identifying the problems faced by the home and cottage industries. Under this scheme, women general facility centers will be constructed in 200 development blocks in the first phase in the state. Work related to common facilities like raw materials, training centers, processing centers, general production, labeling, barcoding, technical research and development centers, packaging and all other facilities will be provided at these centers. 90% of the burden of all these women common service centers will be borne by the State Government.
